The Minister oif Customs .stated yesterday that he had caibled to the Minister of Customs in Australia stating that the duty imposed on foreign currants and raisins could not operate till January next. This action was for the purpose of relieving emharassment of merchants in placing orders on account of the recent tariff agreement. Now this yearns orders would not he affected.
