PREMIER PICTURES.

A large and appreciative audience assembled at the Town Hall on Tuesday evening, when Victor Hugo’s immortal masterpiece, “Les Miserables,” was screened. It is sufficient to add that the picture held the attention of the audience closely, the acting of the principals and the mounting being' very good. Last night another good programme was shown, the principal feature being the drama “ Robbery at the Inn.” Two other dramas of an equally interesting nature were “ A Mutual Understanding,” and ‘‘Adopted Brother,” both of which were well received. Several scenics and laughable comics completed a first-class programme.
