TE AWAMUTU VOLUNTEER FIRE BRIGADE.

The usual meeting of the above Brigade took plae2 at the Cosmopolitan club room last evening. Present- : Captain Bickerstaff (chair), Lieutenant Amore, Firemen Warner, Bockett, Stewart, and the secretary, Fireman Edwards.

The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed; It was decided that the secretary be instructed to write to the members of the Te Awamutu Concert and Comedy Club, thanking them for the proceeds of the concert given in aid of the" brigade. Fireman Warner-tendered his resignation as a member of the brigade. —Received with regret, members expressing their sorrow at losing the services of Mr Warner from the brigade. Several important matters in connection with the forthcoming euchre party and dance were brought up for. discussion.
