WAIPA HOCKEY ASSOCIATION.

A meeting of the above asso- ' ciation look place in the Cosmopolitan club room on Saturday evening. There was a ful 1 attendance of members. Mr S. A. Empson was voted to the chair. Minutes of previous meeting were read and confirmed. After a lengthy discussion it was decided that the secretary write to the Waikato Hockey Association asking them to reconsider their decision in regard to the Waipa Hockey Association. A protest was entered by the Waratahs against the referee’s decision in the match played last Wednesday against Paterangi, and after lengthy discussion it was proposed that this Association uphold the referee’s decision on the grounds that there is no interpretation of rules in protest, and that the referee’s decision cannot be altered, which was carried unanimously. It was proposed that the Association nominate lor the White Horse Cup.
