KAWA DRAINAGE BOARD.
A meeting of the above Board took place in the offices of the clerk (Mr E. A. Cox) on Saturday, the following members beingpresent : Messrs Kay (chairman), Ross, Teasdale. Valder and Walsh. It was resolved that a general rate of in the £ be levied on all property in Class A, and id in the £ on all property in Class B. The chairman announced that the election of the new Board will take place on 4th November, and that nominations would close with the clerk on 28th October. Mr Geo. M. A. Ahier's account, amounting to £l4 9s was passed for payment.
