TE AWAMUTU SALE.
At Te Awamutu on Saturday, 27th instant, we had a yarding of 846 cattle, also a few sheep and pigs. There was a fair demand, and very little remained unsold. Prices: Fat cows and heifers £5 to £6 7s, cows in forward condition £4 to £4 ils, cows in fresh condition £3 5s to £3 14s, 3 year steers (killablc) £6 10s, 15 month steers £2 17s to £3 3s, 2 year heifers (been with bull) £4 5s -to £4 15s, well-grown calves £1 15s to £2 is, smaller sorts £l 6s to £1 13s, others £l to £l 3s, springing heifers £5 I2s 6d to £7, dairy cows in milk £5 5 s 1° £6 15s, woolly wethers 19s, store pigs £1 2s to £1 14s, weaners ns 6d.
