EMPIRE PICTURE COMPANY.
The entertainment given at the local Town Hall on Tuesday evening by the above company was a most attractive one, .and was thoroughly enjoyed by the audience. Pictures of the Delhi Durbar were included in the programme. On Tuesday evening next a series of moving pictures of the Mercer regatta, held on Anniversary Day, specially taken for the Empire Picture Co., v/ill be included in the new programme, and should certainty prove an attraction. It will be the first of a local nature to be shown here, and will give all the leading incidents of the big gathering, including panoramic views of the people lining the river banks, Maori canoe and other races, etc. A splendid programme of other items will accompany the above, and there should certainly be a big attendance.
