POLITICAL.

MR GREENSLADE AT PIRONGIA.

(Own Correspondent.)

Mr H. J. Greenslade M.P. addressed the electors at Pirongia on Saturday evening, on which occasion there was a very large attendance. Mr W. H James presided over the meeting and introduced the candidate, who spoke much on the same lines as his address at Kihikihi. Special reference was made to the Waipa bridge, and the absentee sections, both of which he hoped to see satisfactorily dealt with before the next general election. Numerous questions were asked, and satisfactorily answered, and the meeting closed with vote of thanks and confidence.
