EMPIRE PICTURE COMPANY.

The popularity of the above company was again in evidence last Tuesday night at the Te Awamutu Town Hall, when a large audience assembled to witness the splendid programme produced. The pictures were as usual splendidly shown, and all being new and specially selected from John Fuller and Son’s best importations, there was not a “ dull” moment for the audience from start to finish. Chief interest centred on the Coronation picture, and this, although necessarily short, the film having been mailed from London on the same day as taken, gave the audience a good idea of what London was like on the day the King was crowned. On Tuesday evening next the company will again produce a big programme, chief of which will be the great laughraiser “Jack Fat and Slim Jim” (an adventute at Coney Island.)
