TO THE EDITOR. SIR, —Seems to me some , people don’t have no sense. Tommy sez to me he sez as he heered two or three blokes a puttin’ my letter down to the Cheerman hisself. They might aknowed better, but as I says, some people don’t never seem to get no sense. Anybody who aint nobody in Te Amooter knows me. That Latin cove is up to ’is tricks agen and a-usin’ more dead langwidge which shows (as ’e says) that a man is knowed by the company ’e keeps. A man as pals up to dead langwidges aint no class, ’es a ded ’ed. Whv can’t he stick to good henglish like me, and not be acallin’ a man nasty names in dead langwidges. B’leeve me my ’ed aint no ’ollerer nor his, and if I don’t know what’s best to make roads with.then I’d like to see the cove in Te Amooter as does. No Mr “ Nelly Toresumthing,” I aint the only fool hereabouts, and I’m ashamed on you. —Yours
Charlie.
