The Bangitikei Hunt Club had a most successful meeting’ on Saturday the totalistor investments aggregating £9193 10s, as compared with £3040 10s last year. Sleepy won the Hunt Cup Steeples, with the favorite, Miss Pango, in second position. There was a big dividend in the first race of the day, the Maiden, Lady Hoariri, tenth in the betting, beating the favorite, Final, by a head. At the South Canterbury meeting Streamline won the Steeples, with Polydora second and Arctic Star third.
