BOWLS.
EAST COAST CENTRE. (Own Correspondent). NAPIER, This day. The annual general meeting of the East Coast Bowling Centre was held last evening. Mr J. P. Smith was elected president for the ensuing year. Mr Critchley represents the southern end of the district on the Management Committee.
It was decided to hold the Burton Cup tournament at Napier at Easter, a New Year tournament at Gisborne, and the Champion Fours tournament at Hastings in February. The secretary, Mr W. C. Yates, was voted an honorarium of £5 5s for his services during the past season.
