Over Two-Thirds of Borough Rates Have Been Paid
When the 24 per cent, rebate date ended last Friday, £9146 of the borough rates had been received, stated the Town Clerk, Mr. Frank T. Ray, at Wednesr vday night’s meeting of the Cambridge Borouan Council. This amount was 69 per cent. of the fto/al rates, compared with 68Lper cent at the same time last year, when £8520 had been collected, added Mr Ray. > He pointed out that this year the rates had been struck to bring in £7OO more than last year. . •
