AN INVITATION
TO MR PERRY ADDRESS TO BUSINESS PEOPLE Appreciating that Mr W. N. Perry, president of the Federated Farmers of N.Z. would have much of interest for the business people, as a result of his visit to Britain and the Continent, it was unanimously decided by the Executive of the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce,, at a meeting on. Thursday night, to invite Mr Perry to give an evening address at ;J»is earliest convenience. .. .
.The suggestion was offered by the chairman, Mr C. R. Hawprth, and-iwas readily and strongly - supported by other members of the executive,, ; .
Jf Mr Perry accepts the invitation; all the* business people of' Cambridge will be invited to hear him speak. It is realised that , no doubt, Mr Perry would be addressing the Cambridge Farmers through their own branch of the Federation, but it considered that Mr Perry would be better able to choose his subjects, if he knew that he was invited to speak to all bu&iness people.
