PROGRESSIVE TOURNAMENT QUEEN CARNIVAL FUNDS A ping-pong tournament was held in the Town Hall on Tuesday evening, to raise funds for the Convent Queen. About thirty players took part. The winners of the tournament were (Mr A. Crombie and Miss E. Simpson. A progressive tournament was also played, the winners being Mr J. Kelly and Miss A. Turney.
