CAMBRIDGE SINGER
SUCCESS IN LONDON MR GERRARD PETERS' PROGRESS Since leaving Cambridge less than two years ago, Mr Gerard Peters has achieved considerable success as a vocalist in Ireland and London. After continuing his studies in Ireland, he gained important engagements at celebrity concerts and lately he has been singing with success in London. At present he is under contract to appear at the Paramount Theatre, Streatham, and according to latest air-mail news, the Press reports of his singing have been very encouraging. Before leaving Ireland he was enthusiastically received at the exclusive Bohemian Club. On the same programme were two principals of the Carl Rosa Opera Company.
Mr Peters gained his early singing experience at the Cambridge Competitions Society's festivals, first as a boy soprano and later as a baritone. His career will be followed with great interest by all Cambridge residents.
