THE CAMBRIDGE CLUB SATURDAY’S GAMES The Cambridge Bowling Club’s No. 1 green fully tried the skill of bowlers on Saturday afternoon. In spite of the evasive “kitty” many enjoyable games were played. In an elimination game in the Howden shield competition between two teams entered for the Easter Tournament, R. Freeman defeated Edgar James by one point after an exciting match. Results were,—W. R. EASTER TOURNAMENT Although the official date for the closing of entries for the Cambridge Bowling Club’s Easter Tournament is March 25, the number of teams already received has been enough for the committee to decide to declare the tournament full. Entries have been received from all parts of the North Island. At a meeting of the committee last week, it was decided that this year post-section play be decided on the one-life system. > THE LEAMINGTON CLUB MATCH AT TE AWAMUTU On Saturday four teams from the Leamington Bowling Club visited Te Awamutu when an enjoyable match was played.
