DOMAIN BOARD
GENEBAI BUSINESS. A meeting of the Cambridge Domain Board was held in the secretary’s office yesterday morning when there were present, Messrs. John Ferguson (chairman), S. Lewis, T. F. Richards, A. Giino, G. M. Watt, and the secretary. Mr W.^Stopfqrd. Easter Band Concerts. A request for permission to give Concerts in the Domain during .Easter vv is received from the secretary, Municipal Band. The band was granted permission to take up a collection on Easter Sunday, but to have fixed collection boxes erected on the remaining days. Leases Expiring. The secretary reported that eight leases wore expiring on May 31st. It was decided to call fresh tenders/ for same in Saturday’s issue of the Independent. Tennis Courts. On behalf of the Cambridge Tennis Club Mr j'R. Morrison waited on the board in connection with the proposed permanent surfaces for the courts m the Domain. , „ In the absence of complete, data, including the cost of the suggested improvements, it was agreed that a further deputation from the club meet the board at the annual meeting in May. Finance. Accounts amounting to £2 .10/ were passed for payment. The secretary reported a credit balance of £237 9/9.
