FRIDAY—“A SOCIETY SENSATION.” The feature of Friday's picture programme is a Universal special entitled ‘* A Society Sensation. ’ ’ It concerns the romance of a society youth, played by Rudolph Valentino, and the beautiful daughter of a sea-coast fishing captain. The girl’s right to nobility, her mysterious disappearance, and how her right to a title is proven forms a lively romance. In addition will be’screened, “The Trans-Continental Limited.” This is a line melodrama of the railway. SATURDAY—“THE LIFE OF NELSON.” Special interest will be centred in Saturday 's programme. Its appeal will be the screening of an all-British picture entitled, “The Life of Nelson.” In this epic story of .England ’s romantic past, patrons will see depicted the* story of our greatest seaman and patt riot, who gave his whole life to the service of his King and Country. Nelson’s last hours at Trafalgar will never be forgotten by Englishmen. There is no figure in history so penetrating in its appeal as was Nelson on that last day, when, under his leadership, the fleet annihilated the last lingering fear that Napoleon would ever carry his desolating arms into the British lands. The picture is a first rate one and depicts the battles of the Nile, St. Vincent and Trafalgar, and is further enhanced by the fact that the scenes for Trafalgar were taken on board, the “Victory.” The picture will be screened at a matinee in the afternoon.
