RADIO INTERESTS AND ASSOCIATED PRESS. • ‘ (Bv Cable —Press Association) NEW YORK. OH. 24. A battle appears to be opening between the Radio interests and the newspapers. The Associated Press adopted a resolution against broadcasting at the last annua! meeting and the climax was reached when it was announced that the Chicago Tribune was operating one of the finest sets, in America. They received a warning from the Associated Press not to amiouee the results of the Presidential election over this radio. The order not only includes broadcasting news furnished by the Associated Press, but the hitler 1 Iso seeks to prohibit the Tribune from broadcasting its own election returns on the ground that as a member of the Associated Press, it must abide by the general decision and that any news the Tribune itself may obtain is automatically Iho • property of the Associ »tmi Press. . The Tribune intends to take tee matter to the Courts.
