WAIKATO PRIZEWINNERS. ■ .-CAMBRIDGE INCLUDED. \At the Auckland Spring- Show, which opened on Friday, the following exhibitors from Waikato were .successful: — Light Horses. —Pony mare or gelditigr Geo. Peake (Cambridge) 1, W. Collie (Te Ivowhai) 2, Hack to carry lOst: Mrs A. M. Fisher (Cambridge) 2. In the fat cattle section Mr E. Allen (Cambridge.) secured two first and two second prizes, and Mr IT. Miller (Hamilton) won two firsts. Mr W. G. Park (To Awamutu) was successful in three pedigree Shorthorn classes,' while in registered milking Shorthorns Mr I! D. Duxfield (Horotiu) secured two first awards. In sheep, Mr Park was first on on six occasions (Lincoln), while Mr F. It. Seddon (Hamilton) secured the main award in three classes (Romney Marsh) In fat sheep Mr A. Miller (Hamilton) won two first* prizes. Draught horses: —Filly: W. G.‘ Park (Te Awamutu) 1. Dry mare: W. G. Park 2 and reserve champion. Pedigree Jerseys.—Aged cow, in milk: A. Moreland and Sons (To Rapa) 2. Yearling heifer: W. Chynoweth (Hamilton) 1, special and v.li.c. Yearling bull: W. Chynoweth 2 and special. Bull and two female progeny: W. Chynoweth 1. Yearling bull and two \ Paling heifers: W. Chynoweth I. Pedigree Friesians. —Yearling heifer: Pin Land Company ( Puiipiri) 1 and 2. Yearling bull: Piri Land Company 1. Junior yearling heiiv , Piri Land < ompany. 1. Pedigree Ayrshires. —Aged cow: < • Bailey (bluntly) 1 and champion. In the dog section .Mrs K. Dtmmore s puppy was particularly successful, winning for Australian Terrier’s breed first puppy under 12 months: first; maiden; lirsi novice; first .junior: first limit class and second open class: also a special pnxm.
