EXCLUSION OF JAPANESE. IMMIGRATION BILL SIGNED. (By Cable —Press Association). WASHINGTON, May- 27. The President, Mr Calvin Coolidge, has signed the Immigration Bill under which the exclusion of Japanese front America will come into effect on July 2. Official cireles are frankly surprised, because by his action the President bas* apparently disavowed the recommendations of the Secretary of State, Mr C. E. Hughes, which had received Mr Cool' idge 's prompt endorsement.
