OVERCROWDED WITH PATIENTS SUGGESTION TO CLOSE DOORS. MELBOURNE, this day. So great has the strain of attending the excessive number of patients at the Melbourne Hospital become that the Medical Superintendent told the Board of Management, the only remedy he could suggest was to close doors. He thought this to be necessary, as the waiting list amounts to 360. AUSTRALIAN POLITICS, COMING SESSION PROGRAMME. \ SYDNEY, this day. After a prolonged conference between representatives of the Cabinet and the Progressive Party, Hon. Mr Fuller, on behalf of both parties, announced the business to be presented at the forthcoming session. It was discussed and an agreement reached as to the programme to be submitted. XJGAMARU REFLOATED. SYDNEY, this day. The Ugamaru, which grounded in the Torres Straits, has been refloated appraently undamaged, and proceeded northward arriving at Goode Island yesterday. ;
