On Saturday, in the Davis Cup contest Eohrer beat Peacock, 6—2, 6 —3, 6—3, Peacock not playing with his usual, energy, while Eohrer brought off numerous daring shots. The match between Fisher and Zembla did not take place, owing to the illness of Zembla. A point is therefore conceded the New Zealanders in the third match arranged for to-day. Macenauer and Kozolal beat Fisher and Allison, 6—3, 6—2, (5—2. Fisher made a speech, thanking the spectators for their friendly reception. CAPTAIN DOISY’S FLIGHT. A NEW MACHINE.
