JUNIOR GAMES.

CITY 6 V. MATANGI 3. This match was played on Learnington No. 2 ground, proving an interesting game throughout. City predominated in the first half, Atkinson and Palmer each scoring a try. In tho second half Matangi asserted themselves and had City pressed on several occasions, one of which enabled Robinson to score a try after a good run. Dr Tod refereed. LEAMINGTON 9 V. HORAHORA 0. This match was also played at Leamington, and was a splendidly contested game, both sets of forwards playing spirited football. For Leamington tries were scored by Kelly and Joyce, while E. Hall kicked a penalty goal. Mr H. Vause refereed. KARAPIRO 3 V. MON A VALE 0. The above match was played at Victoria Square as a curtain-raiser to the senior match. Early in the game W. May. scored a good try for Karapiro which advantage they held throughout, notwithstanding the heavy pressure Mona vale put on in the second half, when on two occasions they were within an ace of scoring. Mr H. Vause refereed. THIRD GRADE. Leamington. 9 points (three tries) boat. Cadets 0. Matangi 3 (a try) drew with High School Old Boys 3 (a try). Messrs L. Fisher and A.
