iM-lAUPO SHEEP FAIR

New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., Hamilton, report:— At Ohaapo sheep fair on Wednesday our entry totalled about 3000 sheep, including a line of 2000 ewes from the East Coast* These comprised drafts of 2-tooth, 4-tooth, 6-tooth and 4 and 5-yr old, and attracted much attention from buyers present, being considerably above the average quality of ewes offering in the AVaikato of late. Keen competition ruled throughout, and we effected almost a total clearance, and all classes realised advanced values.

We quote: 6-tooth ewes 33/; 2-tooth ewes 31/; 4 and 5-yr ewes 28/ to 30/; 4 and 5-yr ewes, less condition, 26/; full mouth ewes £1 2/ to £1 2/6; woolly lambs 17/8; small shorn lambs 12/6.
