MEDAL COMPETITION / Tho following is the draw for the men’s medal, to be played on Saturday next: — J. Banks plays M. Wells, L. Peake plays W. Grummett, H. P. Nelson plays A. H. Nicoll, J. C. Sawers plays Capt. Moorhouse, N. Banks plays W. Vickers, A. Boyce plays N. Sutherland, G. Calvert plays A. Wilkinson, Carpenter plays B. Couper, D. Banks plays A. Willis, G. Middleton plays Allison, F. Entwislo bye. WINTER SHOW TOURNAMENT. Playing at the Winter Show tournament at Hamilton, A. Boyce lost by default, D. Banks lost to H. B. Rees at the 23rd hole, A. H. Nicoll beat O. S. Ellis 1 up, and A. J. Friedlander beat N. Banks at the 19th hole. In the Medal Competition D. Banks and A. H. Nicoll returned the best cards (81 each), A. H. Nicoll 94, while in a Bogey Competition A. H. Nicoll, F. Trice and D. Banks finished all square.
