Wilfred Laurier, Sir Kichard Cartwright, Sir Louis Davies, and Mr Charlton has been appointed the British Commissioners to settle difierences. Washington, June 30. President McKinley regards the action of the Appropriation Committee of the Senate in omitting the vote for the Commission to act with the Canadian Commission in the settlement of the disputes between Canada and America, as an interference with his functions in regard to framing treaties.
