CAMBRIDGE DOMAIN BOARD.
A meeting of the above Board was held in the office* yesterday, at 3.45 p.m., to receive tenders for the caretaking of the Te Koutu Lake Reserve for the year ending 30th June, 1899. There were present: Messrs T. Wells (chairman), J. Fisher, E. Hewitt, A. Bach, and E. Lake. Nice tenders were received, as follows : Edward Lowther, Auckland, £IOO per year ; 0. W. S. Purdie, same as at present, £ll6 14s ; W. R. Hessell, Auckland, £l3O with cottage, £175 without ; F. Smith, Auckland, £l3O ; Alfred Bullock, £250 ; Jos. Chambers, £IOO 4s ; Thos. Brown, £BO ; G. Henson, junr., £BO ; Wm. Laogmuir. Papakura, £BB. Mr Langniuir'B tender was accepted.
