THE HAMILTON LIBRARY.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—As a subscriber to the Hamilton Library Building Fund, I should like to know what steps, if any, are being taken a by the Library Committee to completeßr the matter, also if there is a shortage, and in that case if it is not about time that something was done to raise the amounts. A couple of months ago it was announced in your local columns that the members of the Dramatic Company who staged several comedies in aid of the funds last winter intended to produce " Dandy Dick " at an early date. What has become of " Dandy Dick ? " Has he been scratched for all engagements ?—I am, etc., Subscriber.
