CAMBRIDGE CHRYSANTHEMUM SOCIETY.
«. In our advertising columns will be found the preliminary announcement of the Cambridge Chrysanthemum Society's sixth annual show, to be held in the Society's large marquee, on Friday and Saturday, the 23rd and 24th April. The present advertisement more directly concerns the teachers and committeemen of our schools, and we trust they will respond to the appeal of the Society in a very practical manner, and make the children's section of the exhibition as great a success as it has hitherto been. A schedule of instructions will be issued to all head teachers during the coming week. Prospects for . the coming showare exceedingly good. Many new varieties have been imported from England, America and Australia, aud with the vigorous growth all the plants have made, those who patronise the show are promised some "eye openers" in the shape of floral beauty and novelties. Members who have not yet paid thenpresent season's subscriptions are reminded that they are past due, and may be paid at the office of the president, Mr Thos. Wells, or to the treasurer, Mr W. F. Buekland.
