A BUSY DAY.

GIRLS’ EDUCATIONAL WEEK. VARIED PROGRAMME ARRANGED. Girls attending the Country Girls’ Educational Week had a busy day yesterday. In the morning an informative lecture on handcraft was given by Miss Fraser, while Mrs. Ralph Beetham gave a most interesting demonstration on “The Art of Dressing a Table.” In the afternoon visits of inspection were paid to the Masterton Post Office, where the girls displayed a keen interest in the workings of the various departments. Last night they attended the St. Matthew’s Girls’ Club annual entertainment. Another varied programme has been arranged for to-day.
