DANZIG DISORDERS.

COMMISSIONER’S REPORT ON NAZI ATTACKS. DECISION OF LEAGUE COUNCIL. POLAND TO TAKE MATTER UP WITH GERMANY. LONDON, July 2. The report of the Danzig High Commissioner, Mr. Sean Lester, to the League Council described a series of incidents since the end of June, in eluding an attack on a non-Nazi meet ing after which 50 people were treated in hospital, and referred to Nazi clashes with opponents in the streets, German newspaper attacks against him, and the failure of officers on the German cruiser Leipzig to pay the customary courtesy call. The Geneva correspondent of “The Times” says he understands that the Council considers that Poland, as responsible for Danzig’s foreign policy, should take the incidents up with Germany, and that the Assembly on Saturday will approve this course.
