CESSATION OF SANCTIONS.
INSTRUCTION TO COMMITTEE. POSSIBILITY OF DET. AV (Received Friday, 11.55 p.m.) LONDON, July 3. “The Times” Geneva correspondent says the Assembly’s Co-ordination Committee has been instructed to prepare a resolution or declaration recommending the cessation of sanctions, if possible including a definite date for their removal in all countries. A decisive meeting probably will be held on Saturday, but progress may be delayed by the Abyssinian delegation’s unexpected action in submitting two resolutions, one inviting the League not to recognise territorial changes effected by force and the other asking for a ten million sterling loan.
