WRESTLING.

BIG ATTRACTION NEXT WEEK. McCready and hopkins. Two giants of the wrestling ring will: come to grips in the Municipal Hall next Thursday night in a match which will give patrons all the excitement and thrills, combined with good wrestling, that they desire. They are Earl McCready and George Hopkins. Mo Cready is a claimant for the British Empire title, and ‘is recognised as a powerful contender for the world title. He has been unbeaten in New Zealand. Champion of Great Britain, Hopkins is a phenomenally strong man, and is a clean and forceful wrestler. A unique feature of the match is that it will be the first time in Masterton that two British subjects have met in a professional heavyweight wrestling contest. An attractive programme of amateur preliminaries will precede the main bout and a first-class night's entertainment is assured. Seats may be reserved at Mr. W. C. Orange's, Queen Street. Carterton bookings may be done at Hughan’s Garage.
