CLEARING SALE.
N.Z. LOAN & MERCANTILE CO.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., report having held a very successful clearing sale of live and dead stock on account of Mr. J. Carter, Hamua. There was a particularly keen demand for sheep and h'orses while cows sold on a par with ruling rates. Dairy cows sold at up to £4; ewes, r.w. S.D. rams, 30/-; draught horses, 2 at £39/10/-, and 1 at £18; hack, £3. Implimer.ts and sundries made satisfactory prices.
