NAVY LEAGUE.

MEETING OF MASTEBTON BRANCH. The Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Masterton branch of the Navy League held its first meeting of the year yesterday afternoon. The president, Mrs. R. E. Maunsell, presided and others present wore Mesdames E. G. Eton, A. W. Don, R. C. Drummond, W. A. Michael, W. G. Lamb, S. R. Gawith, A. Caselberg, and Misses Cameron and Gray. Apologies for absence were received from Misses B. Vallance and McLaren.

Arrangements were made for the annual meeting, to be held in the A. and P. Rooms on Tuesday, April 10. It was resolved to order three dozen copies of the speech entitled “Whet of the Navyf” recently delivered over the wireless by Captain Taffrail Dorling. These will be available to members at cost price.
