OUTCOME OF EXPERIMENTS IN BRITAIN. PRODUCTION COST HALVED. (Received Monday, 7 p.m.) LONDON, December 20. Many months of experiments have enabled the Duffield Iron Corporation to produce steel saleable under £2 per ton, half of the present cost The firm is now installing a commercial production plant.
