Mrs Mol’.son (Amy Johnson) encountered bad weather after leaving Oran, whither she returned. She started again at sunrise and when she flew north was delayed by head winds and back visibility. During the day an oil filter was continually troublesome. Mrs MoUi?ou tried hard to reach Croydon, hut when above Beauvais ran into a fogbank and, as night was at hand, decided to land at Le Bourget, which she found with difficulty. She arrived exhausted, but was warmly welcomed. She flies to Croydon to-doy. She has established a Capetown to Le Bourget record and can still beat the Duchess of Bedford's and Barnard's record from the Cape to Croydon.
