CLEARING SALE. The W.F.C.A. Ltd. report having held a very successful clearing sale on account of Mr. C. C. Crocker, Newman, on Thursday, when they offered the whole of his dairy herd to a large attendance of local and outside buyers. The herd, which had produced an average of 3091b5. butterfat came forward in very good condition and comprised Jersey and Jersey-cross cows. ®arly calving cows made extreme values, the top price being paid for a Jersey cow calved two days viz. £2l 10/. Other good early ealvers realised from £l5 to £2O/10. Later ealvers made from £B/10 to £l4. The whole herd of 36 cows, which included 4 unsound cows, made the satisfactory average of £l4/16.
