At 7.5 a.m., the Southern Cross departed for Karachi. This morning the flyers reported that the going from Rangoon was uneventful. There was only a little rain. They made a perfect landing yesterday, earlier than was expected, at the dreaded Dumdum Aerodrome. The flyers looked, particularly fit on their arrival at Calcutta. —(Australian Press Association. —United Service.) (An earlier message reported the arrival of the Southern Cross at Calcutta at 4 p.m. on Tuesday.)
