Tornadoes, rainstorms and floods axe whipping South Louisianna to Virginia this week-end. It is claimed that at least thirty-five lives have been lost and that five are missing. The town of Harriman (Tennessee) reported twenty drowned in the Emery River, which covered the city to a depth of thirty feet. The White Creek, near Rockwood (Tennessee) caught 21’ Boy Scouts on the roof of a camping bungalow on Saturday and swept eight away. Three bodies were recovered.
