RIVER OVERWHELMS CITY IN TENNESSEE, PARTY OF BOY SCOUTS CAUGHT. United Press Association. —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received This Day, 0.20 a.in.) VANCOUVER, March 23. Tornadoes, rainstorms and floods axe whipping South Louisianna to Virginia this week-end. It is claimed that at least thirty-five lives have been lost and that five are missing. The town of Harriman (Tennessee) reported twenty drowned in the Emery River, which covered the city to a depth of thirty feet. The White Creek, near Rockwood (Tennessee) caught 21’ Boy Scouts on the roof of a camping bungalow on Saturday and swept eight away. Three bodies were recovered.
