FIRE BRIGADE SPORTS.
GATHERING AT GREYTOWN. LIST OF RESULTS. There was a large attendance at the Fire Brigade Sports which were held at Greytown on Saturday in beautiful weather. A varied and interesting programme provided entertainment. Following are the results of the fire brigade competitions, in which teams from Pet one. Hutt, Eketahuna, Masterton, Carterton and Grevtown took part:— 1 Man Manual: Carterton, 38 2/ssec.. 3; Marterton, 40 2/5 sees., 2. 1 Mun Event- M&sterton, 60 4/5 Fees.. 1; Carterton* 63 2/5 secs, 2. 2 Men Event: Carterton 35 sec., Masterton, 38 4/5 secs., 2. Men Event (Draw): Masterton. 27 2/5 secs., 1; Carterton 28 sec., 2. 4 Men Event (Reel): Masterton, 48 3/5 secs, 1; Carterton. 51 4/5 secs. 3 Men Event (Disabled): Lower Hutt, 43 2/5 secs., 1; Carterton, 54 Bees., 2.
