MEXICAN REVOLT
BACK OF REVOLUTION BROKEN. AN EARLY IMPROVEMENT ANTICIPATED. FALL OF TWO CITIES EXPECTED SOON. (Received Tuesday, 11.35 p.m.) MEXICO CITY, March 12. The Government expresses the opinion that the back of the revolution is broken and it is looking forward to the fall of the cities of Torreon and Durange within fortyeight hours. It believes that within a week the situation will be merely one of wiping out scattered groups of rebels—(Australian Press Association.—United Service.)
