- ANNUAL MEETING OF BOARD t> A GOOD YEAR f The annual meeting of the Board of e Management of the Masterton United c Friendly Societies ’ Dispensary was - held Hast night, Bro. C. H. Anderson a presiding over a full attendance of i members. The annual report showed that the - average number of members on the list - for the year was 718, an increase of 18, r and the average prescriptions per - member worked out at 6.3, as against » last year’s average of 6.7. It reported > a continuation of the good progress ) made oaring the present year, the prei sent figures showing an increase of the i net profit of £2l 16s 6d, in spite of the ■ fact that the expenditure had increas- • cd by £lO5 13s 2d, as against the last 1 year's total. The. financial position of , the board was in a very stable con- • dition. A unanimous vote of thanks was- • passed to the manager, Mr L. J. Tay-1 lor,. to whom the very satisfactory; position of affairs iis undoubtedly due. < ■ Mr Taylor replied thanking the board , members for the valuable assistance < given him. ,
The following were - elected as officers for the ensuing "year: President, Bro. C. H. Anderson; vice-president, Mr Norris; treasurer, Bro. P. M. Smith; (secretary, Bro. A. P. Smith; trustees, Bros. F. H. Wright, W. J. MeArley and E. W. Tooby.
