; SEVEN-ASIDE RUGBY TOURNEY EIGHT ENTRIES SO FAR A considerable amount of interest is being taken in th© carnival to be held in the Masterton Park on Saturday under the auspices of the Park lighting Committee. The great attraction in the afternoon is a Rugby sssvenaside tournament, for which there are already eight, entries. AU the Wairarapa teams are taking part. A challenge shield will be presented to the winning team and a trophy to each member. A special trophy is also offered for a kicking competition. A parade nt night should prove to be pretty and effective and’ sports competitors are out for a night’s fun, for which a novelty programme will pro-; vide plertly of opportunity. Sideshows will also be the centre, of interest. The proceeds will be devoted to ■ reduce the debt on the cost of instal-: lation of electric flood lights in the ' Park
