HOCKEY.
REFEREES’ ASSOCIATION FORMED MEETING AT CARTERTON. A meeting was held at Carterton on Monday evening for the purpose of forming a hockey Referees’ Assoeiation. The following officers were elected: Chairman, Mr E. B. Eagle; secretary, Mr J. Fisher; committee.* Messrs H. Onlish, W. Harding, C. Smith, H. Simmons, A. E. Hamilton, A. Phillpotts, and G. Hayne. It was decided to affiliate- to the NewZealand Referees ’ Association and that Mr Harding be nominate.! to the Wairarapa Hoekey Association as ref--1 rce lor the Nordon Cup match, -c bo ployed at Danncvirke on .Tunc 9.
