RAM AND EWE FAIR.

DEMAND FOR BORDER LEICESTER,.?. OAMABU, April 4. The North Otago A. and P. Association’s annual ram and ewe fair was held to-day. Entries were on a par with those of last year, but the prices were from 2gns to 3gns better. There was a demand for English and Border Leieesters. Tho top price of the sale Was secured by Mr. T. S. Little, of Windsor, a one-shear Border Leicester realising 56gns, being purchased by Mr J. Carruthers, of Middlemarch. On account of the same vendor, a one-shear Border Leicester rani sold for 20gns. Six one-shear Border Leicester flock rams, on account of Mr. Oliver Gray, of Milburn, realised lljgns.—(P.A.)
