■ ITALY AND JUGO-SLAVIA. SIGNIFICANT ORDERS. COASTAL ZONE ON WAR FOOTING ROME, April 18. The “Impero” confirms the reports that Italian and Jugo-Slav relations arc- dangerously strained. There are reports that Jugo-Slavia has recretly ordered all able-bodied men do leave the Dalmatian Islands and return to >he mainland. The “Impero” declares that the ostensible reason is not to lose recruits in the event of Italy seizing the but that the real purpose is to place the coastal division automatically on a war footing without mobilisation.—(A. and N.Z.)
