CARTERTON V. LOWER HUTT. (Our Travelling Reporter.) Six rinks from the Carterton Bowling Club journeyed to Lower Hutt on Saturday, when a third game for the season was played, Carterton winning on the aggregate by 40 points, and thus securing two out of three matches. The visitors 'were hospitably entertained. A team of Park colts, skipped by Stevens, defeated the Masterton colts team, skipped by W. Hendry, on Saturday for the Beale Badges by 19 to 17, aftqr a very keen game. These . matches are creating great rivalry between the “colts” of the two clubs, and some very- fine bowling is being displayed in the games. CHAMPION FOURS. In a match for the Wairarapa Champion Fours on the Masterton green on Saturday, a Park rink, con sisting of Kilgour, Wilton, H. Carr. ’ Groombridge (s), was defeated by the holders, Guild, Thurston, H. Perry. 1 Kerr (s) by 35 to 13.
